By OE MatchPorsche introduces the Cayenne Turbo GT featuring a powerhouse twin-turbocharged 4.0ltr engine, marking the most potent V8 ever crafted by the German automaker. With an impressive output of 631 horsepower in the new Turbo GT model, Porsche proudly announces that its factory driver, Lars Kern, set a groundbreaking SUV lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Kern navigated the 12.9-mile course in just 7 minutes and 38.9 seconds.
In 2019, Porsche introduced a sleeker variant of its Cayenne SUV, dubbed the Cayenne Coupé, which made its debut at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show in April of that year. Initially, two models were offered: the Cayenne Coupé and the Cayenne Turbo Coupé.
Distinguished by its more rakish roofline, the Cayenne Coupé underwent significant modifications compared to the standard model. It boasts a shallower front windshield and narrower A-pillar, giving it a distinct profile. The roof was lowered by 20 mm (0.8 in), while the rear door panels and fenders were updated, increasing the vehicle's width by 18 mm (0.7 in). These enhancements contributed to a reduced coefficient of drag, rated at 0.34, which is 0.1 lower than the standard model.
Each Cayenne Coupé comes standard with a generous 2.16 m2 (23.3 sq ft) fixed-glass panoramic roof, offering occupants expansive views of the surroundings. Additionally, for those seeking a sportier touch, an optional contoured carbon roof is available.
