The initial offerings of the Panamera 970.1 in 2010 included the Panamera S, 4S, and Turbo models. The S and 4S featured a 4.8ltr naturally aspirated V8 engine, while the turbo boasted a twin-turbocharged version of the same engine. Subsequently, Porsche expanded the lineup with the introduction of the base-level Panamera and Panamera 4 variants, both powered by a 3.6ltr naturally aspirated V6.
In 2011, Porsche further diversified the Panamera lineup with the introduction of the Panamera S Hybrid, GTS, Turbo S, and diesel models. The first-generation Porsche Panamera GTS distinguished itself as a sharper-driving variant based on the 4S, equipped with a refined 4.8ltr, naturally aspirated V8 engine delivering 424hp. The diesel model featured a turbodiesel V6 engine producing 247hp and 406 lb-ft of torque, while the S Hybrid combined a supercharged V6 engine with electric motors, resulting in a combined output of 375hp and 428 lb-ft of torque.
