The first-generation 9PA Cayenne Turbo boasted 450PS (331kW) and could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.6 seconds. Both the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S feature a low-range transfer case, a locking differential, and height-adjustable off-road suspension.
The Porsche Cayenne is a series of luxury crossover SUVs manufactured by the German company Porsche since 2002. Described as both a full-sized and a mid-sized vehicle, the first generation was known internally as the Type 9PA (955/957) or E1. It marked Porsche's return to V8 engines after the discontinuation of the Porsche 928 in 1995 and was the company's first off-road variant since the Super and Junior tractors of the 1950s. It also became Porsche's first four-door model.
Since 2014, the Cayenne has been sold alongside the smaller Porsche SUV, the Macan.
